Family of 12 Tour Part 3

          Once across to Picton via the Ferry, we drove to Blenheim in the world famous Marlborough. Our first stop in Marlborough was at Fromm Winery. We were given a tour of the grounds and a fantastic tasting of their wines with the Hatsch, the winemaker. We tasted through some Riesling, Syrah, Malbec, Pinot Noir, and surprisingly for Marlborough, no Sauvignon Blanc. During this tasting the cork screwcap debate came up again but this time the opposite opinion to Ata Rangi came to the table. Hatsch beleived that corks are a fantastic closure for wine, and although there can be a bad bottle here and there, there's no reason to question them.
          Fromm had some fantastic wines, but we stayed so long tasting and talking with Hatsch, that the Cellar Door closed and we had to return the next day to buy some wine. Here are some pictures of Fromm below.
